the o2 plugs into the cat right? well when you replace the cat with straight pipe you have to do something with the sensor. so i figured out a way to keep it in the same spot, thus rerouting it so it works without being plugged into the cat....thanx ed!

just about every aftermarket dp comes with a bung for the o2 sensor. just plug it into the bung.

I think he went to a muffler shop and got someone to take off his cat and put a pipe in it's place without making a bung for the o2 sensor.... ghetto... but I guess whatever makes you happy.

lol...I told him to do that...not sure if he did it before or after I told him.And he is a little bit happier....the car sound better and runs better.I don't think is ghetto, If he didn't wanna spend money on an exhaust and wanted a better sound out of the stock one then that's the way to go.Or he can run with just a downpipe....like I mentioned before, works with the G/F.Zero bitching in the car while driving....as soon as she gets that look on her face you just floor it!!!!!!!then you can go on to the head nodding trick..lmao
