This is probably stupid to ask but how hard is it to put a waste gate on ? I was thinking of buying one and was just wondering if I would have problems. I can put on intakes and stuff like that but I have never messed with a waste gate before.

 

wich wastegate are you trying to buy?.If its the AGP then it's a piece of cacke....Forge is easy too.Let me know when you get it and I'll go step by step with you.AGP is kinda trickier because you actually have to adjust it, but forge doesn't need adjustment.There's also other brands but those are the most common in srt4s.

 

The wastegate part is easy... good luck with the heat shield bolts.

 

they were a little bit hard, but the one on the side is hell.Thank god I had the right tools.I also polished the headshield...everyone asked me if it was an afternarket headshield....lol....

 

Which one is better or are they about the same. Forge or AGP. How did you polish the heatshield

I would think the AGP (I have it) is better because you can adjust it to your preference. The Forge is cool cause you don't have to tune it.

 

At work I got a grinder tool, wich you can also use as a polisher, you can also use sand paper, but it takes a lot longer that way.Forge opens at 19,no tuning requiered.I got AGP so dunno, either one is fine
