Im having a couple of issues with my srt. I dont remember just how much stock boost I should be getting, and I only seem to be getting anywhere from 4 to 8 lbs. It doesn't seem to have as much pull as it used to. I cannot seem to get it to hold a boost for very long either. Are these symptoms of a boost leak. If so, does anybody have any ideas for this newbie. Another issue I am having is a rattle that seems to be coming from the boost guage. By the way, I took it into the dealership where I bought the car and they said that the boost in normal and the couldn't find the source of the rattle. Theywere no help! Any info would be helpful.

 

normal boost is 11-14psi depending on weather. you probably need a new boost gauge. check your ic pipes and the charge pipe for leaks.

 

BOOOOOOOOOOOOST LEAAAAAAAAAAAK!!!!Check every single Vac line and ic pipes, also it wouldn't hurt to try and make your own boost leak detector...very easy, and cheap as hell

At one point I had the Mopar Bov, but removed it. That was about 8 months ago.
