how long it lasts depends on how you drive the car and how much power you have. there's no definitive answer to that.

I'm at 75k on my stock clutch. I haven't had any issues with my transmission at all yet. I change the fluid every 12k, and drive the car relatively easy. He has a few track passes on him, and some spirited driving, and my clutch is still in great shape. Not to mention I taught myself how to drive stick on this car.

Are you using ATF in your manual trans or are you using synchromesh fluid? If so, are you using the stuff from the dealership of some other brand?

trans should ATF+4. mopar from the dealer (i have seen it at walmart for like 4bucks a quart though). you can also get a small bottle of friction modifier for about 7 bucks fromthe dealer. there is debate as to whether it is worth putting in, but for the cost i say why not.

i've always used the mopar stuff and it's been fine, don't really see a reason to change. people have had good results with the redline fluids though, i might give that a try next.
