well i took the blue plate off today, and i gotta say im confused. It is now spiking 18-19 and then holding at 15-16 slowly tappering off at redline. the weird thing is its not throwing the code. so im going to keep driving it for a few weeks and see what happens..kinda sucks cause now i dont get that tuuushhh sound, but oh well. and no i have never changed the wastegate. the only iv done is gauges and blue plate. next week i get my s1 back from flightsystems..so well see.

the next best thing for you is to get a stage 1 ecu. overboost problem solved
no i have no stage kits, but i shipped a s1 last friday to stephanie at flightsystems so i should have it back soon enough. but ya today i pegged out the stock boost gauge. kinda scared about it, but oh well they can fix it when it craps out.

I live down in Everett (Think your in Bellingham?) and I've been spiking about 14/ holding 12-13with the cold weather. I'd say19 ispretty high. Your s1 will get rid of the overboostcode (I sent my s1to Flight Systems last Friday too!), but I would look into the overboost still. Glad to see the dealerships just North don't know anything about our cars as well. I've had the worst luck with about 5 different dealerships down here.
yea the bellingham place is crazy..but i have 1 of the 3 srt's in b-ham.. that iv seen. so they prob dont deal with them much. but mechanics arent mechanics anymore.. they dont fix things, just replace things...old school is gone..

Ok guys, so on the way home tonight the da*n engine light came on. Same code P0234. So can go ahead and rule out the blue plate like i thought. next step is the dealer..now that cant have an excuse. i think im going to suggest a new wastegate. whats your guys thoughts.
well, since the P0234 code = overboost, I'm going to outrule the wga for now. It might be a bad wga, but when a wga goes bad, it usually doesnt hold boost (as opposed to holding more boost).
if you are completely stock, then bring it back to the dealership. First, take off the riceplate. You'll be surprised how much of a difference it can make, once you take that pice of crap off.

rice plate? if you are talkin about the blue plate thats what i did last weekend. its completly stock. and my next task is to take a joy ride to bellingham chrysler. wooo hooo..
