So I was looking at vacuum diagrams on the other forum, and there is a sticky about only having pretty much one vacuum line ona Stg1 setup. Vacuum lines are the most confusing to me and I don't want to f anything up. What is your position on this setup?

lol...I did that, none of my selenoids are working, I think I only got one vac line still working...car runs pretty good like that.Less vac lines, less chances of leaks and messed up crap....thats what i think

That's exactly what I was thinking, but I can't help but be skeptical. It would make sense that all those vacuum lines are there for a reason....Did you just cap off all the solenoids and what not? How long you been running it like that?

there are 3 different boost sources (black line, blue line and green line). When you install an aftermarket wga, you can cap off the black line that goes to the stock wga and you can t-off the blue or green line and run that to the new wga. I think I'm coming off the green line but try both and see which you like best. There's really not much else to know about those lines. thats pretty much the basics of it.

Here's what i did last night. I pulled the black and green line from the solenoid, and placed the mbc in between them where the solenoid once was. I then capped the solenoid (not sure if this is even needed). So far, so good. Got all my low end power back from when I installed the wga. Isn't this essentially what you were telling me to do? It looks like the green vacuum line goes from the turbo to the solenoid, and then the black line goes from the solenoid to the wga. Bu t'in into the green and capping the black, wouldn't you just have a useless black vaccuum line ran through there?

no. remove the black line, you don't need it anymore. run the green line to the wga. put the boost controller in the green line.

I think that is essentially what I have done by replacing the solenoid with the boost controller, no? Here is how I believe I have it set up: Turbo --greenline--> mbc --black line-->wga. It looks like it was set up the same way before, but instead of the mbc in thereit was the solenoid...
