Build Your Own SRT-4
One of the dispatcher's at the PD who's been begging to drive my SRT-4 found it and turned me on to it...
I won't let him drive it because he weighs well over 300 pounds and would be hard pressed to fit behind the wheel. He sits in a special XL chair the PD had to buy for just him so he could pull dispatch duty.....

If you liked this game, wait until mid-december when Gran Turismo 4 (GT4) comes out with a super realistic and completey tuneable and perhaps customizable SRT-4. Here are a few pics that I have seen of the SRT-4 from GT4, now this is a GREAT game:

Sweet looking game. Too bad I wont be able to play since I own a Xbox. Buying a PS2 would be silly because Im now weighing things against mods for my car.
<Thinks to self> Hmmm do I really need this, new game this 49$ could go to my new plug wires........ hehe I am sure you all have done that.

I just hope they stick to the mid December release date this time....it's been a long wait!!
They have to, it's their final deadline straight from Sony, they had to do this same thing on the last two (GT2 & GT3) installments. They are well known for either being overzealous in achieving perfection or lazy since they have NEVER made their original deadlines. Each time they have been forced into releasing them and it has always been right before Christmas.
I remember with GT2 I had kept calling EVERY SINGLE GAME SHOP AROUND waiting for it, I had gotten down to calling places every hour on the hour looking for it. When it was finally in the stores I was there to get the first copy, I had even left work to get it, and it didn't hit any stores until december 21st. The first to get it around here was Kay Bee Toys. Having been forced to release it after several delays, thousands I believe, they had to release it without it's intended drag strips, yet it did retain 2 of the drag cars, the Intrepid and the 200 or 240 SX I believe. They had intended to have drag strips in GT3 as well as online, but they took far too long and had delays that lasted well over a year or two and it was forced again to production, which to do this resulted in no drag strips and no online.
Here we are after over a years worth of delays again with the upcoming GT4 and again a final deadline right before Christmas. And again we the consumers and fans of the series are getting screwed by the game designers once again, the promised drag strips will finally be there, but the more important online is once again stripped away from us. Instead they will make an online version or something to that effect that is supose to be released next year, I find that to be laughable with their past (remember how we were supose to have gotten a small teaser GT game for the PS2 soon after the PS2 was released, Japan got one and we got nothing but lies and false promises).
If they ever do make an online version of GT, I wouldn't expect it anytime before the release of the PS3. I can hear it now, it gets delay after delay after delay and then the release of the PS3 is within a year, so they decide to hold off on releasing it on the PS2 and instead they will be releasing it on the new and better PS3. But since it is new hardware they have to retool and start over from scratch and then the delay cycle repeats.[:@][
