Yesterday was a bad day for me.I got out of work at 3pm and raced over my house, I got there at 3:30pm picked up some money and went to pick up 4 S2 injectors that a friend sold me.Forgot to say that when I got hom the new Maddod STS was sitting ouside my door waiting for me.So far so good.I put on the injectors and new sparkplugs while a friend ripped apart the interior to install the maddog sts.I had to do all this before 4:30 pm because thank god I found a shop with a dyno that was gonna tune my car and I had to be there before 5pm.The name is JapTrix...pretty cool guys, they all god evos, STIs.I didn't have time to install the sts so I took of and went over to the shop.When I got there they were closing up, so the guy who's tunning my car told me to come back on Sunday because they are having a dyno day.I said thanks and went back home and started working on the sts.Got done pretty fast, took a shower and went to pick up my girl.When i got to her house she wasn't even ready(what a surprise).I ended up getting at the track at 8:30.....to make things worst 2 cars hit the wall so they had to get the track ready, and some other guy spilled oil all over it too.I finally got my chance to race...at 10:50!!!!Took off pretty good, those MM helped a lot.But when I tried to WOT shift from 2nd to 3rd I missed it....ended up running a 14.3...wich pisssed me off so bad I left.I'll be back in 3 days tuned and hopefully with slicks.Anyways just had to get this off my chest....hopefully you guys will understand my pain!![&o]

lol..yeah...hopefully I'll be wiser next time and leave the g/f at home.On my way home she kept messing with me asking me how I missed that shift!!!

 

how do you like that shifter, I have been thinking about getting a maddog. is it harder to get in gear vs. stock shifter?

lol..yeah its a lil bit hard in the beginning.But once you get the hang of it it is reallyeasy and makes a difference.If you do get it, wich I suggest you do...get the 58% throw.He makes an 82% too, but thats too damn short to drive around.Thats what psichick suggested...and she was right.58% is great, lot better than mopar and all others.Oh and really easy to install.

MADDOGSTS.COM.....you have to e-mail him.I suggest you go with the 58% less throw, and ask him about the viper shift know.He doesn't sell it, but can give you a link where to get it and thread the sts so it fits in it.It only costs like 30 bucks....and it is awesome...I'll try to post some pics later.Mopar sts isnot even close to maddodg'scuality and performance.
