one of my friends told me i didnt need a wideband, that the safc would be good enough for tuning my fuel....i guess he dont know what hes talkin about....i was gonna get one anyway, butfrom when he told me that, i didnt think it would be a "must have"

an safc is find for tuning fuel, but how are you supposed to know if you're running rich or lean without a wideband to tell you? a safc only allows you to pull fuel, it doesn't tell you where you're at.

it's not really about knowledge, it's about common sense. how can you know if you need to pull fuel if you don't know how rich you're running? that's partly why i always suggest that everyone has a wideband as soon as they start messing around with boost levels. it's a good safety measure. even if it helps you out just once in letting you know that you're too lean and prevents you from damaging the motor it's paid for itself.

That's where I just got mine. Arrived at my house within a week. I looked around quite a bit and the only deal I could find that would beat this one was a group buy on the other forum for $275 shipped. I opted for the $4 extra....

...i saw one on nopi for $223....but i believe it was only for the gauge....no o2 sensoror harness.
