Default HELP!!!!!

Ok I have an 05 SRT-4 with the Kicker option, I want to add another amp and woofer. The back of the head unit doesn't have any RCA jacks, and I can't piggy back off of the stock wireing. Does someone know what I should do? I have been tryig to figure out how to install this woofer but I can't figure it out..

Are you trying to do this with the stock head unit? Get an aftermarket head unit.

If you want to you can buy a set of RCA jacks or cables and splice their wiring into the factory wires to plug into your amp.

With a new headunit and amp the sub sounds totally different..... I wouldn't replace the sub until you heard it with a new amp.

i replaced the head unit, fronts and put subs in. however with an aftermarket head unit you can still allow the stock sub to play along if you want.but any good system starts with the head unit.i would recomend getting one first. even if you can only afford one item, get the head unit. it is your platform to build on from there out. a ****ty head unit = a ****ty system. i reccomend Eclipse, they have good quality units starting around 300 bucks for a decent one.

pioneer head units ftw...i have one and so does my boyfriend. he's got a sick system in his car, i'm just starting to build mine (just got a box w/2 10" JL's and two amps a few days ago). i would definetly recommend pioneer head units. they look good and have all the features that you could need. pioneer and alpine are the two leaders when it comes to competitions from what i understand (not really into all that so i'm not 100% sure on that one).

one thing i will definetly say is stay away from sony head units. i have one in my jeep (it was in my srt) and it's a pos.

You can get a "Dodge Neon Srt 02-05 Car Radio Dash Kit W/Wiring & Ant." on Ebay for about $13. Then you can insert an aftermarked cd player

well, to answer your origional questoin though: if you insist on keeping your stock head unit, you can get an amp that accepts high level input and wire it to your rear speakers or soemthing. you could also opt to buy a unit that converts high level to RCA. i used to have one back in the day. then just wire the amp + and - as you would, and put the lead wire on the ignition (ACC on) with a toggle switch if you want
