well i was racing a 206 cobalt supercharged down the pike today. to me i think he started in 3rd cus i heard him shift as i shifted to 5th. anyways, it was about 80 mph rolling start and i was in 4th. well he has a cai and a cf hood, so right there hes got slight wieght reduction and a mod. mines bone stock. has a heavy assss system in the trunk. well i hit 14 psi holding while boosting all day today, i was going but he slowly kept pullin up to me and i didnt think that it would keep up the way it did, any comments on this. btw i wot shifted and i know im a better driver cus i know the kid...

 

80 mile roll in 3rd!!?? damn.I raced a cobalt once, we were both bone stock and I kicked the living crap out of him.....0h and a goat too(5.7).Mayb hes bull****ting you about his mods, mayb you suck as a driver(lolol j/k)Next time race him from 2nd, it should be a whole diff. story

 

yeah, i agree... race from like a 30/40mph roll, youll toast him.

 

my friend has a cobalt ss supercharched and the thing is pretty damn fast untill like 70 then the srt starts to pull on alot more. irace him all the time andmy friendis a crappy driverput a good driver in one of those things and you have a race.

 

the cobalt's actual hp is pretty close to the srt4's hp. the one on modern performance site put down like 220hp with a drop in filter, and their rated at 205.

 

My wife has the saturn ion redline which is the same thing but she has exhaust,CAI,smaller pulleys,and stage 1and from adead stopshe has beet stock srt4's from a roll it isn't muchdifferent. She stays right with me but I still beat her. We went from 60 mph roll and I jumped in front she was at my bumper and stayed there untill we stopped at 120. I am a better driver than her and still she stays right with me when we race.
