Default Short Review of finished installs

Well I finally got the majority of my hardware installed. Clear side markers 5 mins (those clips were a biatch.. I hope I didn't shave the light too much and they fall off O.o. Clear 3rd, took like, 2 minutes. Tail lights.. ok these took like 30 mins, That stupid kicker sub was in the way and a bitch to jerk out of there, apparently they felt it necessary to glue it to the ground and wall of the trunk, atleast it seemed like glue I had to rip it out, asn I jerked out more carpet than I had wanted, so I had to get all that back in just perfect. Eye lids, they were stickers, I threw them away. Titanuim turn signal bulbs, I was so happy my car would no longer be crosseyed!.. but when I ordered a "pair" from MP apparently the guy taking my order saw a "pair" as, one bulb.. so I can have a pirate car or order another monday . K&N Cold Air intake, I have alot to say about this.. but first.. HOLY ****!.. ok now that is out of the way... everyone please make sure you have all the necessary tools to put this together when you do it. I didn't. I put the Z brace in without being able to remove the wheel guard thing.. Oh and if you think thats hard I had to put the filter on as well!!! thank god I had a bendy screwdriver with allenwrech t-20 attachments. The instructions said T-25.. but that was too big I had to use a T20. Anyway the install took an hour and 1/2 just because of that.. it was horrible I bet I spent 45 minutes laying on the ground trying to start bolts with one finger holding the brace / filter and another.. maybe two if I was lucky trying to start the bolt. Oh ya I got the clamps all toopsie turvy (since they all look the same) and had to remove the big one I put on the inlet hose to the turbo (oops) onto the k&n filter.. that took all of 5 minutes though to switch those clamps out. Now.. that CAI, is the meanest, son of a bitch... I have ever heard in my life.. but maybe I did it wrong? I hear no hoses leaking at idle as I stick my head under the hood, I am of course throwing no codes, and I am getting full boost, I tightened the hell out of those clamps. Anyway, I rev it.. instead of the Mopar Psssh... I get a mean LOUD! PSSSHH shhh shh tttt..
Now I took it out for a quick drive, I can hear it sucking up the air! It's loud too, a big woooooosh sound when I tromp on the gas (ok so I had a heavy foot while testing it), then once the turbo picks way up it starts whistling really loud like some kind of crazy train whistle. I looked down and I was going 95 on the highway because I was listening to that whistling sound.. maybe it's that cover thats on it causing the noise to increase as air is forced through its tight cheese cloth like threading? Does this sound normal for the CAI? If so... yay.. k&n air filter is now my #1 recommendation.. pff on the mopar bov.. GET A K&N CAI! And I can really tell I've got a little extra kick now when I open her up.
BTW When I say loud I don't mean MOPAR BOV loud.. this is muting out the sound of the exaust loud.
