ok well last night i had to beat my car for about 10 minutes to get to work,. when i was prettyt much full throttle on the gass. and let off i could hear the air noise sounded like a bov. i never heard this stock bov work so i didnt think it made any noise. my driving style changed alot recently and i can hear it big time in 1-3 but my holding psi stays at 14, if there was a leak id assume to see a bigger drop,. i always held around 14. so i dont think theres a boost leak. or maybe a hose came up plugged? or crack in the stock bov. why is my car giving the whooshhhhh noise when its stock and never did that before. cus im driving it harde\r?

 

probably your right.Just to be sure..toss that thing out you window and buy a better bov.Sooner or later it'll leak...you should see what mine looks like

 

get a hks bov.. they are NIIIICE!

 

i would just check all of the connection points for your i/c piping and vac lines, make sure everything is tight. but it very well may be the stock bov ( mean surge valve). you can either upgrade or you can pick up a stock valve pretty cheap these days
