Weirdest thing happened to me on my way to work this morning. I was not a mile away from my house driving at about 25mph when every single light in my dash lit up. CEL, ABS, seatbelt, airbag, you name it, it lit up. I look down and where my miles should be, it just says ‘NO BUS’. I was like ‘No **** this isn’t a bus! WTF!?! So I pull over and try to get the diagnostic codes to see what’s going on. It won’t do it. Doesn’t even say done or anything like it does when there are no codes. So I pop the hood and disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and reset the PCM. No problem after that. The car felt like it was running fine the whole time before and after. Maybe my ECU had a brain fart? I have a used Stg1 pcm that was reprogrammed by flight systems to accomadate my vehicle. Anyone seen this before?

sounds like a communication error between the gauge cluster and the ECU...

I drive an 04. I reset the ECU and it is fine now. I did some more research and SRT_YA is exactly right. The gauge cluster easn't communicating with the ECU.....

 

the same **** happened to me in my 03, it started and ran fine 3 hours before i tried to take it out again. it started but died and then went completly dead, and said NO BUS, if someone can help me that would be great! thanks
