I just ordered the eyelids off of ruthlesscars.com. I didnt notice how hard it was to put them on until after i ordered them. O well, hopefully all goes well and i dont f anything up
I know that feeling I am so afraid to mess something up when I am messin with the parts. I guess with a cf hood cf eyelids would look better than the others .
The fiberglass eyelids form Carbon By Design come with a gel coat on them that is paint ready. They do not paint them. I left them the way they came (black) because it matched the car pretty good (also black). If you can put a magnet on a refridgerator, you can install these eyelids. Literally takes 5 minutes (gotta love 3m tape!). I have had mine on for several months with no problems. It is quite amzing how many complements you get for such a cheap/easy visual mod.I have had more comments on the eyelids than anything else! I've heard nothing but horror stories about the vinyl eyelids. Friend at work tried to but some on his Tiburon and it looks horrible! Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber FTW!
yea i just looked at the ones from carbon by design, they look much better than the ones from ruthlesscars.com I wish i would have looked around first, o well if they go on easy and look good, then i would have just saved myself like 90 bucks!
