Default Thinking of buying?

ok well im a big fan of SRT-4's, Nissan SE-R, Mazda's. Basically anything that has a 4 cycl engine and with the proper mods can haul @$$. I will be selling my car tommorow for only 4k and i found a 04 srt-4 with 77k miles on it for 12kand i have not driven it yet, but the outside was in excellent shape along with the very nice custom rims. My question is how do these cars run after miles and miles?... do they have any consistent flaws with them? And last but not least what is the insurance like on one of these bad boys (crucial because im only 18) thanks for the help.

That is alot of miles, you can get one with lower miles but you will probably pay a little more,I got mine with 16,000 miles and paid 15k for it. my insurance is 120 a month but I am 25 so a little older than you.

yea your insurance is going to be really high since your only 18 but shop around different companies, cant really help you on mileage because mine only has 25,000 on it. so far I have nothad many problems with it.

there are a number of srt's with over 100k with no problems, longetivity isn't an issue.

as for insurance, comparing yourself to others on here is pointless. everyone here lives in different states and are of different ages and driving backgrounds. so what one person pays isn't going to really help give you an idea of what you're going to pay unless they're very similar to yourself. just get some free online quotes and see what happens.

Amy's right on the insurance... shop around... I had quotes ranging from $800 every six months all the way up to $1500 every six months when I was younger and first purchased the car... thankfully at 25 it dropped - considerablely!!!

(disclaimer: I am only saying this to show the range of insurance quotes from company to company, not to suggest what your insurance will be).
