i thought that a cobalt recently beat the srt's record on the flats?

cobalt did beat the record but in a different class......srt still holds it in the PS/F class as of now

 

Yeah I think the Cobalt was on E-85 fuel.

 

speaking of a cobalt (side note sorry to hijack), how would a Cobalt SS run compared to us???

 

Stock vs Stock the SRT4 would wipe the floor with the Cobalt SS/SC. Cobalt SS/SC needs at least the Stage 2 GM upgrade to go head to head with a stock SRT4.

 

I wonder how much they put into changing the car up like that...??? Thats awsome though...

But seriously they average about 3-4 tenths slower in the qtr which is IDK maybe4-5 car lengths. Very ballpark.
A very good run in a good running Cobalt could beat a not so good run in an SRT stock for stock. They close enough to be right there if you make any mistakes.

 

K - Thanks for the info. My neighbor has an SS and he just got back from Iraq and ALWAYS wants to run them. I was just curious as to how they perform.
