aftermarket parts to buy???(help)
thats funny psi chick, i thought you were all about maxxfab from what i've been reading.....I was looking at the perrin earlier today and i liked that you could still keep the dual exhaust look....LOOKS LIKE I KNOW WHAT KIND OF EXHAUST ILL BE GETTING
the greddy exhaust is nice, but at $800 for a cat back they're on crack! the mpx sounds awful, and i know of at least two people that have had the welds break on them.
i do love maxxfab's stuff, and i think they do make some of the best exhausts on the market. but flamming said that you like the stock sound and the perrin can give you a sound closer to that then maxxfab can.

yes i do like the stock sound, i want it to sound as close to stock as possible. I do agree with flamingpinhead though i wouldnt mind seeing 12s in a 1/4 mile. He voices his opinion becausetheSRT is mine and his but I drive it a little more than he does. He wants to doone thing to it and I wantto do another. Can you all give me websites to look at some of this stuff? I will check it out. I dont want something thats going to break after 2 weeks of having it ya know.
s2 and a set of dr's can get you 12's in the 1/4 with no problems. a few supporting mods and you'll be good (intake, tb, wgaand a fmic).
swift sells the perrin, but a friend of mine ordered from them and it was a nightmare. i'm not sure who else sells it, try a google search. other good sites and places: modern performance, n2mbracing, moparsupercenter, s&pdevelopment, JMBracing, turboneonstore.com, agpturbo.com, exhaustdepot, and a ton more. there's a lot of aftermarket support. it helps if you can give us an idea of the specific parts you're interested in then we can help make recomendations based off that.

In my opinion a 3" full exhaust is useless if you dont plan on going over 300HP. Stick to a 2.5" catback and just upgrade the downpipe to a 3". Maxxfab sells a nice 3" dp w/ modified borla catback for like 600. But its a bit louder than stock, so it might not be for you sexySRT.
300hp would be nice, I dont want to change the stock sound if i dont have to, monstab what do you mean by louder than stock? does it still have a lower tone/ rumble to it? I mainly want to work on hp, suspension, brakes, rotors, and everything engine wise

that full turboback is going to help you get to 300hp!
Yes this is true but the gain is very minimal. Not worth spending almost a $1000 when you could use the maxxfab/borla setup and use the additional dough to buy other things. But its up to you. Go over to maxxfab.com and take a look at their dynos. They tested a full turboback vs. their dp/borla setup and the numbers were identical at 270hp. You dont really reap the benefits of the full turbo back until you get up in the 300hp+ range.
