Hello Everyone! I'm a Proud 66 Dodge Fargo Town Panel Owner. I restored around 5 years ago, and never did anything with the interior. But what I'm up tro now is the drivetrain. It has the stock 225 Leaning Tower of Power, and being a big truck, SNORE!! I just bought a 68 newport with rotten frame, but a sweet 383, 2 barrel. Now amazingly, dodge did put a 383 in these trucks late 66 into 67 so I'm still period correct. They made a lot of these for the Army/Navy and Fire, Ambulance services in the 60's. But anywho, That is my immediate project, and I'm sure to have questions. In case I wasn't clear, reading back, I'm transplanting the 383 into my Panel van, so should I install the slant six into the Newport, just to keep it moving? The body's not too bad and it's also a 2 door. Thanks for having this great sight, and too bad Dodge Girls so much younger than me ( I'm 46 )!!
