Hello from long-time Mopar owner
Hi all! Name here is Jimmy. My 2000 Ram 1500 Quad-cab is my fifth Mopar. #1 was an '85 Lancer, which was actually a great car. Too bad I was stupid and traded it for a Saab (total piece of crap. I don't know what I was thinking). Next I had a '90 D150S Pickup. No one ever brags on the 3.9 V6, but I drove that truck over 168,000 miles (that's when the odometer quit) and it didn't burn one drop of oil. Too bad the a/c died on me or I'd probably still have it. When my wife and I got married she came with a '91 Dakota which we later traded (a/c died, and I didn't know I could retrofit it to 134a) on a '96 Neon. We just got rid of the Neon a few months ago. We put 116,000 miles on it, and the only trouble we had was with the a/c (lots of trouble). Mopars are great vehicle, too bad the a/c's are crap. Anyway, my current vehicle is my Ram. It was actually my stepfather's, and after he passed away my mom kept it for a while and then decided she could part with it and sold it to me. Like the rest of them I've had a/c trouble with it, but it's still my all-time favorite. I love my Ram!
