hi i'm new to df but i was looking for some help with my 01' 2500 ctd. Recently my fuel pump went out and mistakingly i took it to the stealership and they changed my lift pump and put it in the fuel tank and then they wanted 2000 for the injection pump not including the 1000 for the lift pump. so i decided to change the injection pump my self and saved 1000 bucks by doing this. since dodge messed with my fuel tank it holds almost 30 gallons when i fill it up instead of the 24 it use to. the other day when i filled it up it cranked up just like it should and then the dummy lights started going crazy. it was first the abs light and the airbag light, a minute later the engine light came on and the odometer said no bus. i stopped the truck turned it off waited a minute and turned it back on then only the engine light came on. during my 50 mile ride to work the engine light remained on. when i got in my truck later that day the light was off and everything seemed normal until the tank was just below half then it started acting like it was going to stall out on me i hit the gas a little more and it ran ok. then today i topped off the tank and again the dummy lights went crazy and no bus appeared in the odometer. the abs and airbag lights were on also with the company of the e-brake light and the low fuel light, and all the gauges went off light the truck was turn off. it seems to run ok except for the stalling everyonce in a while. does anyone have any ideas or suggestions from past experiance? i would greatly apperciate it.
