Hello everyone
I have been lurking here for awhile here, but never got around to posting anything. I bought my wife a 97 1500 4x4 last year and now she hates it because she says it cost to much to fill up with gas, so she gave it to me. I do not understand why she does not want it because it is a great truck that gets great gas mileage and before we owned it, the truck is was a one owner vehicle. I got lucky when we bought the truck from a local dealership because it had all the service records since it was brand new showing everything the original owner did to the truck, so I know it was taken care of. It has the normal paint fade problems on the hood, fenders and roof, but no rust at all. I plan on changing out the exhaust because the converter is rattling and getting an intake system to help out. I have learned quite a bit just lurking for awhile, but will be getting more active in the forum.
