Default Life Long Chevy Truck guy leaving the bowtie

I was browsing the site and ran across an article written by 94rt10ohio. I was very impressed with the ingenuity and joined the site immediatly after reading the info. I am easily entertained.

I have had many vettes, camaro's & hot rod chevy trucks for the last 35 years. I missed out on the days of the 426 hemi, 383 magnum. The closest I came was a 340 Duster that screamed. Especially after adding the intake for 2 four barrel carbs. I put the pistons in places they had never been before.

I was not going to miss out on another hemi generation. I passed by a car lot in Houston while driving my 05 chevy LM-7 (dog) and saw a 2003 gray, Quad Cab, 5.7 with all options available for 03. It was used but in excellent shape. I stoped and paid cash for it and have not had any regrets.

I have made a few changes: K&N FIPK, Cat back exhaust with magnaflow muff, Super Chips had held program. I have Motto Metal 951 20" wheels on order. Sorry to be long winded.

Anyway, praise or damnation to 94rt10ohio for his involvement in my joining the site. Only time will tell.

thanks for having me

Jeff

You guys have great looking trucks. It is obvious you have a lot of hard work invested in these rides. I will go to the help files and find out how to post a pic of my old beater. I dont have any gull wing doors, but I will wash it before I post the pic. I will gather much knowledge and inspiration from this site.
