From the AZ Heat
Figured I'd introduce myself. Actually, it was just this past weekend I purchased a 2003 Hemi Ram 1500 SLT. This will be an entirely new experience for me, as I've driven Saturn coupes up until now. It was hard to give up my 1998 SC2 too. I've also paid my cars in full until now, so payments will be interesting, especially on a college student budget. My SC2, while a daily driver, was also my autocross/road course car, and I'm thinking the Ram will not be doing any of that anytime soon.
Although not an Arizona native, I've been living in Arizona for the past three years, and am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University. I also work as a Service Advisor for Bridgestone/Firestone Inc.
The truck was purchased out of need as well as want. I own a horse (my other major financial drain) and have begun training in what's called cowboy mounted shooting, and I'm thinking that making him walk to our destinations probably wouldn't go over well. [8D]
Nonetheless, hello to everyone! I'm excited to read up more on this truck I just purchased!
