Newbie - 2007 Dakota Owner
Hello Dodge Forum,
As per the instructions I am posting to introduce myself to the forum. I purchased my first truck, my first Dodge, and my first new vehicle purchase since 1983. I replaced a 1963 Ford Country Sedan (Galaxie) 9 Passenger Station Wagon following my buy on 6 January 2007.
My other ride is a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible.
I've been a Kasey Kahne fan (not rabid) since his rookie year, and as I am writing this he is 4th in points in the standings, with all of his finishes thus far in the Top 10. What a change over last season. I suppose that following him, selected as I needed to keep it in the Chrysler family, and that probably softened me to considering a Dodge, that and the fact that I believe the Dakota is the only truck worthy of use as a tow vehcile for about 5000 lbs, while still usable as a daily driver.
Well, this intro gives you some idea of me and a bit of my biases. I believe I'm safe in saying here that the Chrysler family products are the best designed, best looking American vehicles in the market today. Let's hope that breaking free (somewhat) of Daimler Benz helps to restore our parent to profitability, and sustained sales growth.
Regards,
Mark
