I made the mistake of "starting out" on srtforums and was a member there for about a week before I got tired of the negative comments about my "newbie" status and the questions I was asking. I found DF after a quick check on Google and haven't regretted it. Everyone here is pretty cool, about the only "trouble" we get are outsiders coming in and trashing DCX or making unsupported claims about their vehicle's performance......
As a moderator I don't force my opinion on anything on anyone at anytime. I'm old enough (53) to know that you can't change people's minds or opinions with just words on a computer screen and arguing on a forum is about the biggest waste of time I can think of. If those guys/gals at srtforums have such fragile egos about a piece of machinery call a "car", I hate to think how they're going to handle real problems in life that happen to us all.....

Thanks Dusty... It seems we have both made mistakes (i.e. joining srtforums first). I think the mood is alot better in here after just being here for 7 hrs or so. I actualy solved a problem already concerning my car & with out all the negative comments recieved on other boards.

Welcome to DF! Wow, can't believe the stupidity of those people. But you all are right...mostly teens and young adults own Neons, and think they are sooooo coool. But hey, you found us, and we're nice people. Some of us are a wee bit strange ( hey..don't look at me! ) but we're one big happy family!
