First off, THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT POSTS!!! It is encouraging to see the information sharing that occurs here. I bought a 96 Dakota w/3.9L A/T for 500 bucks from a fella I bugged for four years. I enjoy this vehicle and it is quite the worker. About two weeks ago I had an intermittent misfire and backfire that was driving me nuts. Well from the posts i read on this forum I solved my problem. It was a bad CPS. This board is terrific.
