Newbie here from the Chicagoland suburb
Hello everyone big Mopar fan here, I currently have two newer Hemi cars. 07 Sublime Charger R/T Daytona, 05 Chrysler 300C, and hopefully soon I'll be adding a 09 Challenger. I've owned a few older Mopars before, 3 - 68 Chargers, 1 - 69 Charger R/T S/E, and the last one I sold three years ago for my new Hemi cars, a 70 Cuda 440-6.
My big question that I'll add here, does anyone know a web site or any info. to locating a car via VIN number? I'm trying to locate a 68 Charger that my father purchase new. I have the VIN number and the purchased paper work on the car. I'd like to find and purchase the car back if it still around. I've tried a DMV web site but that can only find cars with the larger vin numbers, has to have 17 digits not 13. It would be greatly appreciated for any help at all.
