All SRT-4s are manual and take practice to launch w/o wheel spin. You are not alone!!!

Silly idea, but sometimes it the minor things which make a big difference; check to make sure the floor mat isn't getting behind the clutch (I'm not sure if this is even a problem). I just know that in one of my other vehicles, this has happened before and it made me think my clutch was going.

I mean, it could be syncro, but an 04, it's still pretty young unless the previous owner floated the clutch a lot.
