Hello from a new member

Hello all, Redsol1 here. My handle comes from my 1995 Honda DelSol, but I also have a 2002 Ram 1550 which is why i'm here. I'm a mechanical engineer with some mechanical savy (Some, not much) and I've got to think I can do some of the things i'm paying my dealership for. I'm looking forward to learning from the boards and hopefully contributing something back.

There are a surprising number of things you can do that you don't need to take your rig to the stealership for! Welcome to DF!!

yea, I just got a quote from my dealership. ~2000.00 for Exhaust manifold gaskets, u joints, and tie rod ends. Picked up a Hayes book and I'm hoping to get some expert advice from the folks here
