New here, been lurking for a few weeks.

So, a bit about myself.

First truck I bought was an 05 Ram 2500 Hemi, but the steelership decided to try a bait & switch on the financing a week later, so I walked away with a bad taste in my mouth and bought a 02 Ford F250 diesel. (BIG MISTAKE)

Whoever coined the Fix and Repair Daily saying hit it on the head, Started this summer with the ball joints going and i've been repeatedly fixing something in the front end every week since.
(Not a fun experance)

I've had it with fixing the thing and am looking to get back in a Dodge with a Hemi (aint keen on the 15 quart diesel oil changes and extra expensive repairs) considering either a 1500 or a 2500 but I do not want anything to do with MDS.

the 2500 I Inittialy got was lifted with 35" tires and the thing got better fuel economy than the stock trucks with the mds engines do, that being besides the point though, If I gave a rip about fuel economy I'd by a scooter, not a Fullsize Truck.

sorry for the rant but I just tore open 3 knuckles this aternoon re-torquing my track bar for the 8th time and i'm a bit fed up.

BTW anyone know if the MDS on an 06 or 08 1500 can be disabled?
saw a nice 08 and a nice 06 at a couple local steelerships for good (for idaho anyways) prices.

also found an 03 and a 05 that i'm waiting to hear back on about the price.

would prefer to get a 05-06 2500, but can't find any locally that have a hemi.
