You're definitely in a different truck than what you had. These ones actually handle good. Welcome to DF.

This is my first Dodge too. I always had a Ford in the driveway but Ford service sucks. They have a better warrenty but that's about it.

I had a Ford Ranger and I have had a bunch of Rangers in the past and My company truck is a 02 Ford F150. I kept having Tranny Problems with the Ranger so It was either put money into it or get something new I think Dodge has a better warranty and Plus I got ir under Dealers invoice since my company is now under there incentive program. This truck has power and it handles Great. I am already looking for a cold air intake for it I guess I cant leave anything alone. I also got a full size due to the fact I need it to pull my 6x10 trailer with 3 quads. I hope in the long run I will continue t like it.( I am sure I will)

Ford Ranger
Ford's are notorious for having tranny problems. My moms Ford Explorer had tranny issues and cost us a leg to fix, not to mention the electricity loss in many parts of it, and air conditioning issues... Dodge does have its problems as well, but seriously cut back compared to Ford vehicles =)

Dodge is the best purchase I've ever Made..I've only had a problem with the tranny once but it's handled great..especially in rough offroading
