Mopars rule
Hey guys. I've been hanging around for a while and have decided to join the forum.
I'm a Mopar guy through and through. It probably started because my Dad's first car back in '68 was a Charger R/T. He's had it ever since. Although it wasn't running for the first twenty some-odd years of my life. Now it is completely restored.
Quick history:
1993 - Both brothers bought Mopars. 1967 Charger, and a 1973 'Cuda.
1995- Graduated high school and got a job at Petco. Bought my first car: 1969 superbee w/ ramcharger hood. Sold it two years later. Sorry! It was my every-day driver and I didn't make enough $ to keep it in the shape I wanted to.
1997- 1999- Restored the '68 Charger. Although my Dad did pay for it, I did all the work. I didn't paint it though.
2004 - Bought another '69 Superbee. Plans for it:
528 crate Hemi. Fuel injection. Tubular front k-member & controll arms. Coilover suspension & rack and pinion steering. Independent rear suspension w/ coilovers. 5 speed manual trans from Keisler (modern top-load shifter). 6-pack lift off hood. Upgraded A/C from Vintage Air, using stock vents. Stock appearing interior.
The idea is a "stock appearing" car that drives like a newer car. I bought original side-scoops for it too. It's going to be bad-***.
I keep you guys updated. The only thing I've done so far is strip the car and remove the 440 that was in it.

RE: Mopars rule
It took me two days to figure out how the heck to post pics. Sorry these pics are so blurry, they are scanned pictures. I'll have to use my digital camera to get better pics. I don't have pics of the new Bee yet, these are pics of the Charger and my old Bee. You can see my brother's '67 Charger in the street.
