I have an 02 1500 and im hitching up electric trailor break I have the pig tail fromt he glove box shouldnt this already be instaled where the truck has a tow package?

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Welcome to Df Steve... umm if the pig tail is what I am thinking it is. The piece you are talking about is to hook your brake control box up to and then its more or less plug and play into the socket under the dash. Hope this helps
