Its a 98 intrepid. The car ran when I bought it but after doing some research on it, it has the 2.7L, I did some preventive maintenance. The car would stall a minute or 2 after being started. A dirty throttle body was the cause and I fixed that. Ran great after that. Next I ran some sea foam through the oil system to try and clean it out. I was gonna let the car ran for exactly a minute, and before I shut it down it started to run real rough. Like the timing was off. Soooo, I pulled the timing chain tensioner and sure enough it was gunked up. I started the tear down and got up to the crankshaft pulley removal but couldnt get it off. I have had 2 back surgeries since. Cant do it no more. And there it is. Just sitting in the yard. The car has 86,000 miles on it and is in fair condition. Its a shame because it ran and I messed it up Instead if junking it, Id rather part it out. Im sure there are people out there that need cheap oem parts. I posted it in the 2 gen intrepid section.
