Noob!
Just saying hi! I've poked around here once or twice but never introduced myself.
Nothing special, but shes mine and shes paid for.
2004 Dakota Club Cab SXT
Purchased new in '04, (82k miles now)
3.6L V6
2WD
5-speed manual
Limited slip rear
The 2WD, manual tranny, and the LSD were my only requirements when I was shopping. The sales guy looked at me like I had antlers sticking out of my head when I said I wanted a 5-speed. I guess thats not a popular request in the burbs of Chicago. They closest one they could find was about 300 miles away up in Wisconsin. When the truck finally came in, I was sitting with the sales guy in the truck. I looked down and said, "Whats that third pedal for?" The sales guy stared at me for a second not knowing what to say. I held in my smile for as long as I could before I told him I was kidding. I'll never forget the look on his face. lol
I've had almost ZERO problems with this truck. Blower motor resistor has gone belly up twice, but thats it. Absolutely nothing else has cost me a dime, (besides normal maintainace).
My truck gets used as it should to. Its the weekend dirtbike hauler and landscaping material hauler. The Rhino-Liner went in right after I bought it and its been great.
Did I mention I love my truck! haha!
