Default New from Texas

Hello all...

Just picked up a '04 Ram 2500, Cummins 4WD.

Not new to Dodges, but I am new to diesels. I found this place looking for the 24V engine valve adjustment procedure.

The truck has mods done to it already, and I will be looking all of it up to see what I have. This will be my 1st experience with a diesel truck. I love the sound it makes, and it is fast for such a big vehicle. It is faster than my old Power Wagon with a 440 magnum.

I have been a hobbyist mechanic for over 30 years, and I have worked on all domestic makes and am a fan of the Nissan Z cars.

Looking forward to becoming an active member of this site. I am a moderator on a 300ZX car website, and an active member of the HybridZ forum.

I am really digging my new truck...

Mike

Welcome to the site. You should check out the 4th generation Ram Cummings diesel section. There is a pull down window in the lower right of the screen to help you navigate the site,

Thanks for the welcome.

I know a lot about trucks and automobiles. I have owned every American brand and several imports... I think I might be an asset around here at some point. I have a lot to learn about diesels though...
