I have a 2005 dodge dakota v6 and my mileage is not great. any tips on improving it.

You probably shoud give more info, and how many MPGs is it getting

 

My dakota is the quad cab. 3.7 v6. has 46,000 miles. Has k&n filter all terrain tires. Just installed new ngk yrridium plugs. I use mobil 1 clean 5000 conventional oil. No other mods. I get an average of highway and city of about 16.5mpg. on Shell gas 89 octane. i got 17.5 with premium shell gas. I mostly travel highway and i never get close to 20mpg. if i do just city i get 13-14.5 mpg.
