new member : just signed up today

old truck: 99 ram 1500 (but maaaaaan he's a tough old bird)

hola everyone!
i signed up to maybe get a little help from some experienced truck owners and to offer what little advice i can.
so be warned....there will be a lot of questions and help seeking coming from my end.
a little about me and my truck:
i bought this truck when it had 11miles on it, brand new and have done little preservative maintainence. i know, i know...i've heard it all from pop but it takes a while to sink in.
he's now at 125666miles and before he decides to quit on me, i think its time i put some work into him.
i'm by all means no mechanic but i got tools and i'm a fast learner.
i'm not shy or soft so i hope none of you will hold back in telling me i did something stupid...just as long as you steer me in the right direction.
with that, i'm glad to be here and look forward to learning from anyone who wants to share.

 

hey, welcome to DF! you'll find plenty of help around here. just go over to the 2nd gen ram section and ask any specific questions you have. do a search first to see if the question has already been answered.
