Default new Ram guy here

Hello, I just picked up a 92 1/2 ton 2wd drive, 318 magnum auto 130,000miles, for 400 bucks. Also has air cruise, tilt, pw, pl. It was on Craigslist, and didn't run. The guy said he was driving to work and it quit. I found a stack of receipts in glove box. The receipts are new steering box, tranny fluid and filter, alot of small thing to. The guy tried to start it wouldn't start. My dad towed me home. We popped the hood, and just looking at engine. Dad said " Let's try it". Something crazy happened, it fired right up. It needs engine work, it was spitting and sputtered down the road, and back. I bought it to replaced my 87 f-150 that's a manual. I needed a auto tranny. My dad has had a 73 4x4 1/2 ton,a78 4x4 1/2 ton and a 3/4 4x4. But now owns 98 3/4 Cummins 2wd ex cab, and 94 3/4 4x4 built up. I really like the feel of this 92 Ram it rides real good to.

I think that the older Rams are sort of the black sheep of the truck world...I got mine for free and I know they usually aren't that expensive from private sellers...but in reality they seem to be really great trucks. now if i could figure out what the build sheet means on my 83, I'll be happy!
