Hello fellow Dodge owners
I recently purchased a 98 Ram 1500 Quad cab short bed 4x4 with 78k from the original owner. The old guy kept it serviced at the dealership. Its in exc shape except the paint, clear coat is coming off in a few places. For now it will be my daily driver. This is my 3rd Dodge. I had a 2000 Durango R/T and 02 2500 Diesel.
I bought it for a daily driver toy. I don't expect great gas mileage from it (but the 5.2l and 3.55 gears will help). To hold my interest in the Ram I am already planning ahead some modifications.
I like the fact that it has the 5.2l 318 and there are lots of inexpensive bolt on items for it. Of course I'll have to get a tuner, full exhaust with headers, and maybe down the road I'll build a 360 for it. Who knows.
I'm looking forward to hanging out a bit here and swaping information.
