Default Hi All - New to forum new to Dodge

Hey everyone!

I recently picked up a '00 Durango R/T with only 45K on the odometer. The previous owner had it in a garage for most of its life and only drove it on dry days so it has rarely seen rain or off road use.

Awesome truck. This is my first American SUV and my first V8. I have had Japanese sports cars all my life Nissan Z, Subaru WRX, Honda s2000, etc.

I needed somthing bigger and the price was right so I picked up the R/T. I hate the gas mileage, but love the torque and room inside. Curious to see how it holds up compared to my other cars, but so far so good other than a few annoyances. (Rear window doesn't go down.)

Looking forward to getting some good information on here.

Sorry should have clarified. It is the rear passenger door window that doesn't operate. I believe the motor has gone bad. I have heard this is a problem the 1st gens have. I am hoping to do a little digging on the forum to see if I can fix on my own.

thanks for the welcome
