New Dodge guru in the house.
Hey everyone. I'm one ultra knowledgeable Chrysler technician. I was a trainer for Chrysler in the mid 90's out of the Centerline MI training center. Currently I teach high school auto shop. Every one of my advanced students rebuilds a A604/41TE or an A606/42LE. Minivans are my specialty. I own like 20 right now. 1984, 85, 88, 89, 90, 92, 93, 96 (+5), 97, 98, 99, 2000, 03. I guess OCD would explain that problem
Some major accomplishments over the past years: I build a 1985 shelby charger for circle track racing. The engine I built generated 325hp @ 7,000 and it is ALLMOTOR. 44mm side drafts, billet crank, dry sump and so-on. Currently I'm building a Conquest for circle track with this motor grafted in and using a Ford Mustang trans.
Other cool projects: Currently building a 1984 cargo minivan with 3.0 and 5speed. On the back burner: 1982 Dodge Mirada w/ stroker small block (408).
Wild Ideas: El camino style minivan/pickup. Mid engine minivan using and intrepid 3.5/ and trans. I figure an awd rear axle for hubs, some custom CV shafts and that would be one wild ride.
Other stuff I have: 5 conquests, 2 Sapporo's, 2 cummins trucks, Daytona shelby, Lebaron convert, 6 dakotas, 3 Raiders, K-car, Omni and some non-mopars, 6 Ford Diesel trucks and 3 nondiesel, Chevy rollback, chevy cube van, winnebago (chevy chassis), 5 geo metros, 3 toyota corolla's, 6 mid 80's mustangs, pinto, mustang II... Having 100acres tends to accumulate stuff. of course the all don't run but at least 60% do.
My main downfall is I get cantankerous when people don't listen/follow directions. I'm kinda like the SNL computer geek skit when it comes to cars... If you can bare with my shortness, you'll always get good directions to solve problems. and I have a dry/witty sense of humor which thin skin people cry like babbies while others laugh with hysteria. I'm not afraid to call a spade a spade nor correct grossly inaccurate information. However, if I give an answer to a problem... I put a lot of research to ensure it is good info.
