Default Check out my spaceship....It's a Dodge!

What's up, I've got an '04 Ram 1500. So far the only things I've done is a cold air intake and Flowmaster exhaust. Getting ready to add BBK headers, and looking for some feedback on high flow cats vs. just running a Y pipe.

i would leave the cats. mopar's are pretty free flow as is. i had mine deleted with an AT3030 and the truck was rediculous loud. i had to add a resonator. but i do have 3 kids that ride with me frequently or otherwise i wouldn't care. my stock stero was no match either. but if you want loud by all means cut them. why not do an e cut out

Thanks for the idea on the cut-outs. After doing some looking online I think I'm going to go that route. Thanks again.

If you want to hear what it will sound like I have a clip of my 04 with the cutout open to give you an idea of what it will sound like.
