I just placed a post in the Dodge Caravan forum regarding DRL's for the father in laws 07 Carvan wheelchair van. I promised that I'd come here and introduce myself so .

I'm a retired LEO from the Tampa Bay area, currently operate several related businesses and am a D.O.I certified airboat operator with FL 3 Airboat Search & Rescue.
I'm also do some work as a government contractor teaching small boat ops.

No longer own a Dodge but used to have a 71 Super Bee "back in the day" and love the Mega Cab CTD 4x4's!

I'm a moderator on a couple of other automotive forums (one Corvette related and one general automotive (all brands), so if I get out of line, feel free to me. I'll understand

Anyway, thats about it and I'm looking forward to checking out the site.

Thanks,

Gordon

Thanks.

I was recently looking for a tow rig to tow one of our rescue boats as well as the training boats, and was seriously looking at the Mega Cab.

The $$ put it a bit out of my price range for now (we're a non-profit and currently working on some grant and other funding).

I'm seriously starting to look for an older (80's-early 90's) crew cab Power Wagon that I may be able to upgrade to diesel and put into use as well.

Figure I can restore/upgrade it over a period of time without going into debt, and use it as not only to tow the boats on a call up, but as a show piece when doing PR events and fundraisers.
