Newbie in Oregon - Howdy
Greeting from the sunny state of Oregon (yea, right).
I bought my first truck in '93 - it was a brand-new Dodge Dakota (my first new-car ever). Soon after buying it, my wife and I decided to take the dog on a road-trip down to Baja California (si, Mexico). We went ~100 miles south of the border, and then just headed off-road - what a fun trip. We had so many adventures: rattlesnakes, retirees, a couple of kids who'd never seen an Anglo before, and lots of 4-wheelin'. It was on this trip that we decided to start a family. We had a few mis-adventures, but WOW - I had lots of fun on that trip.
A few years ago, I "traded" for a bigger truck - another Dodge (2004 Ram 2500), but I kept the Dakota for my eldest son.
I'll be studying the wealth of info in this forum, trying to figure out how to fix-up the '93. Thanks to everyone who's been kind enough to share their experiences and knowledge.
Regards all,
