Default New from Northwest Indiana

Hi there everyone. I just bought a 1998 Doadge Ram 1500 RWD w/ 5.9L 360. Unfortunately the truck had a bad rearend in it. The guy I bought it from drove it for a long time with no oil. That added and extra $800 to the $2000 that I paid for it. It has about 108,000 miles on it and is other wise in great shape. I have started having problems with the starter though. That will be taken care of shortly with a new 180 ft.lb. Power Master starter and new 800cca battery this week. This truck gets really bad gas mileage as well. I don't see any oil when I look though the throttle body so I don't think there is a leak. If there is I was given a repair kit to fix it. I think the bad gas mileage might have something to do with the 305/70-16 Wrangler RT/S tires that are on it. I have no idea why someone would have put these tires on a 2 wheel drive truck. Well that's about all for now. Thanks for having me.
