New guy in Washington state.
Hello everyone. Just arrived here and thought I'd introduce myself. I recently purchased a 1982 Ram Conversion Van w/225 slanty for $350. So far I've managed to trace out various broken wiring connections, a "hot wired" ignition (which was toggled by a household light switch), and various other little annoyances.
I am in the process of converting the engine from an electronic nightmare to something resembling a '71 Dart. Fortunately I've found wiring schematics for a Dart, and coupled with the wiring diagrams for this year van, I'm able to make a hybrid. I'll be putting in a points distributor today, and hopefully firing it up.
I don't have pictures of it yet, but I'm working on that.
