Default Delivery of new vehicle

Does Dodge offer delivery program where you can pick your new vehicle up at the assembly plant? I think that would create some buzz and help sales out. I just bought a Ram and I would of love to gone to MI and pick it up. That would of been awesome and worth a couple of extra hundred bucks plus it would help the local economy.

Welcome to the site. Economics plays a part in that scenario as you need dealerships that buy 100 cars and then pay for 100 cars instead of a person buying 1 car. When Chrysler cut 789 dealerships, the dealership owners were not allowed to return the vehicles and had to sell them at a lower profit margin to other dealers or at a reduced price to the consumer. Chrysler could make a higher profit margin, but would chase say 300,000 people for money compared to 1000 dealerships. Quick return on a few customers,

Here in Alamosa, CO there is one dealer that sells GM, Ford, and Dodge......we have a lot of Fords and Dodge trucks, not so many Chevy's.
