Cool my old dodge van/camper

Hi,

I'm new to this site. I have a 1993 Dodge Xplorer van/camper (motorhome).
The engine is a 5.9 litre 360. I have 169,000 miles on it, 119,000 of them put on myself.

I have owned this vehicle for ten years and always taken care of it.. no problems till last year, when I put about $7,000 into it..

I am not sure if I should keep this van, or give it up now. So I am looking for
feedback on HOW to keep the van. Its running good now, and looks inside like new, all systems are working great.

Last year, one of the mechanics I met suggested I get an OBD1 scanner and a reader.. where would I find this and are there any of you out there with
any ideas about how I can keep my van?
Thanks for you time, AB/ road lady
